A traffic stop by the Manitoba RCMP Roving Traffic Unit led to a seizure in the RM of Minto-Odanah.
In a release, RCMP said they pulled over a vehicle at about 2:00 PM on April 29 on Highway 16. According to police, the male driver was the only person in the vehicle and they pulled him over for a violation of the Highway Traffic Act.
After searching the vehicle, RCMP seized what they describe as a “large amount of Canadian currency” and seized the vehicle as well. The driver, a 24-year-old man from Stony Plain, Alberta was arrested and later released with a future court date.
