The City of Brandon has started its residential water testing program for lead.

As a result of the overwhelming response to the 2024 Lead in Drinking Water mail out within the potential lead service line area, the City is delivering 500+ sampling kits this spring to those that signed up over the winter. There is currently a wait list for additional 2025 sampling and a sign up list for 2026. Please consider signing up for the 2026 sampling program today.

Water quality testing for all participants is free of charge. The results of the individual sample tests will be made available to homeowners directly.
