Arrest Warrant
On May 25th at 9:00AM Police located a 47-year-old male in Princess Park. It was confirmed the male had a Warrant for Arrest (Failure to Attend Ident). The male was arrested and later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of June 23rd, 2025.
Pointing a Firearm / Possession of a Weapon / Utter Threats
On May 25th at 11:03AM police were called via 911 to a disturbance at a residence in the 400 block of 5th Street. An intoxicated 26-year-old male who had been kicked out of the residence earlier in the day, had returned and was banging on the door, pointing a BB gun and threatening them. He was arrested and held in detention cells for court in the morning on May 26th, 2025.
Assault with a Weapon
On May 25th 4:02PM a 28-year-old female reported being assaulted by her 28-year-old boyfriend. Upon having an argument, the male struck the female several times using a shoe. Police attended and the male was charged. The female was taken to a family member’s home. The male was released via Undertaking with a court date of August 5th, 2025.
Failure to Comply Release Order
On May 25th at 4:30PM a 68-year-old male attended BPS and was arrested on the strength of the endorsed Warrant for Arrest. He was held in detention cells to have SOIRA (Sexual Offender Information Registration Act) paperwork completed in the morning. He will be released on Appearance Notice with a court date of June 23rd, 2025.
Failure to Comply Undertaking
On May 26th at 3:37AM a curfew check was conducted on a 43-year-old male in the 1200 block of 10th Street. Police were informed the male does not reside at that residence. The male was then located at a residence on Stickney Avenue. He was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning.
Breach of the Peace
In the last 24 hours there were three incidents that resulted in Breach of the Peace. All three incidents resulted in the individuals being held in detention cells to be released in the morning once sober.
