-In the Southwest Baseball League – Hamiota topped Souris 15-1, Oak River beat Wawanesa 9-3, the Brandon Cardinals downed Reston 17-5 and Souris 14-7, Rivers beat Wawanesa 9-5, and the Brandon Young Guns hammered Virden 25-7.
-The Chicago White Sox doubled the Toronto Blue Jays 4-2.
-On Saturday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers beat the B.C. Lions 27-14 to remain perfect on the season. Next up is a game against Edmonton Thursday night in Winnipeg.
-Keegan Bradley rallied from three shots behind with four holes to play and birdied the 18th to win the PGA’s Travelers Championship, while Minjee Lee won her third women’s PGA Championship.
