On June 22, 2025, at approximately 8:30 pm, Dauphin RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a business located on Main Street South.
Multiple officers responded immediately along with RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) and RCMP Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS).
When police arrived on scene, an employee advised that an unknown male had entered the store with a firearm, with his face covered, and demanded money from the cash register. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot. The employee was not physically injured in the incident.
Officers immediately began a search of the area where, shortly after, PDS Marook located a bag in an alley that contained discarded clothing that matched the description of the suspect. Officers then located the suspect in the back lane of 6th Avenue SE, where he was arrested without incident.
23-year-old Dravan Guldie of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has been charged with the following:
Pointing a Firearm
Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purposes
Robbery with Firearm
Weapons Possession Contrary to Order and Fail to Surrender Authorization
Guldie has been remanded and will appear in court later today.
