Instagram debuts new college tools!
Instagram is taking it back to Facebook’s early days by adding a campus verification feature to better help college students connect online.
Students will now have the option to add a school badge directly to their profile and the ability to search classmate profiles by graduation year through a student directory after confirming their enrollment through UNiDAYS.
The news comes a week after rival platform TikTok launched a virtually identical tool and reflects a broader push by the Meta-owned app to reach Gen Z.
