A ceremony will be held at Brandon City Hall this morning to proclaim the start of United Way Week.
Mayor Jeff Fawcett will sign a proclamation at 10:15 am declaring it “United Way West Central Manitoba Week” with 2025 Campaign Chairs Tim Black and Shelly Thompson from Q Country 91.5, and members of City council.
The raising of the United Way flag will follow at 10:30 am.
The United Way says ‘this event shines a spotlight on the importance of unity, generosity, and the collective impact that helps strengthen our community. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our shared commitment to creating positive change across Westman.
