-The Brandon Wheat Kings play their regular season home-opener tonight against the Moose Jaw Warriors. The tailgate party starts at 3:30 pm. Puck drop at 7:00 pm at Assiniboine Credit Union Place.
-The Toronto Blue Jays lost 4-0 to the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. The Jays are in Kansas City against the Royals today.
-In the NFL – The Buffalo Bills beat the Miami Dolphins 31-21.
-There are two games in the CFL tonight – the Toronto Argonauts host the Montreal Alouettes – and the Calgary Stampeders are home to the BC Lions. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are back in action Saturday in Ottawa against the Redblacks.
-The Brandon University Bobcats soccer teams host CMU at Healthy Living Centre field this Sunday afternoon. The women (4-0) kick-off at 1:00 pm – the men (3-1) at 3:15 pm.
