The Brandon Regional Health Centre (BRHC) Foundation has received a donation of $100,000 from Chemtrade Logistics in support of the hospital’s new Critical Care Centre.
According to a media release, the expansion will feature a new 16-bed Intensive Care Unit, which will include individual ICU rooms, rather than a shared area, to improve the patient & family experience. It will also include 30 higher acuity medical beds to support patients requiring specialized care, and an outdoor courtyard for families and patients to have respite from stress, reduce anxiety, and enhance the overall patient experience. The new building will also include state-of-the-art equipment and technology to enhance treatment outcomes.
“We are incredibly grateful to Chemtrade for their commitment to our mission,” said Stacy Senkbeil, BRHC Foundation Board Chair. “Their support helps us continue our work in enhancing care and community impact at the BRHC, and it sends a strong message about the power of local partnerships.”
“Chemtrade Logistics has a long history of giving back to the Brandon Regional Health Centre”, adds Senkbeil. “This latest contribution reflects their ongoing dedication to making a positive difference in the community.”
