-In the Manitoba AAA U-18 Hockey League tonight, Yellowhead is in Brandon. Face-off at 7:30 pm at J&G Homes Arena.
-In the Major League Baseball Wildcard Playoffs – the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 3-1 to take a 1-0 lead in their best-of-three series. Game 2 goes tonight. The winner will face the Toronto Blue Jays.
