Study: The Going Rate For Tooth Fairy, Tips & More
New research on the “going rate” of gifts, kids’ allowances and even the Tooth Fairy reveals how much we are spending these days.
It finds that the going rate for birthday gifts is $56 for adults and $83 for kids, while for wedding gifts it’s $85 and Mother’s Day presents average $55.
The average weekly allowance is $37 per child and Tooth Fairy payouts now average $14.87.
Tim and I both feel this is outrageous, especially the tooth fairy pay out! Where’s the loonie or toonie?
