A Winnipeg-based company that makes color sampling tools like paint swatches, is moving some of its newly acquired operations from the U-S to Winnipeg. Duha Color Services says the move will create 94 new jobs in Manitoba. The province and Ottawa have contributed a total of $159,000 to support the company’s plans.

Treherne RCMP arrested three teenage hunters after a 66-year-old man was accidentally shot on Tuesday morning. The victim suffered a wound to his arm and was treated in hospital. A 14-year-old girl, and two boys aged 16 and 17, face several charges including careless use of a firearm.

Mounties in Souris are looking for video surveillance footage that could help them arrest an armed robbery suspect. Police say on Monday, a male with a handgun entered a store on 1st Street South and stole cash and cigarettes. The thief was wearing a dark hoodie and coat, a balaclava and ski goggles.

Turtle Mountain Conservative MLA Doyle Piwniuk will not run in the next provincial election. He says he wants to spend more time with his family. Piwniuk was first elected in 2014 in the former Arthur-Virden constituency. He also served as minister of transportation and infrastructure under former premier Heather Stefanson.

U-S Democrats released never-before-seen emails on Wednesday that revealed convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein claimed President Donald Trump ‘knew about the girls’. The emails also claimed an alleged victim had ‘spent hours’ at Epstein’s house with Trump. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says the emails are another distraction campaign by Democrats and the liberal media.
