-The Saskatchewan Roughriders won their first Grey Cup in 12 years with a 25-17 win over the Montreal Alouettes on Sunday. Riders quarterback Trevor Harris, who completed 23-of-27 passes – a Cup record 85.2% – was named the game’s Most Valuable Player.
-The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced that Mike O’Shea will return as head coach for a 12th season. O’Shea is a two two-time CFL coach of the year, and six-time Grey Cup champion.
-The Brandon Wheat Kings are back in action Tuesday night in Moose Jaw against the Warriors. On Saturday, Brandon beat Medicine Hat 6-5 in overtime.
-The Winnipeg Jets return to home ice tomorrow against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Winnipeg only won 2 out of 6 games on their recent road trip.
-In the NFL tonight – the Dallas Cowboys are in Las Vegas to take on the Raiders.
