-The Brandon Wheat Kings play back-to-back road games this weekend. Tonight they visit the Prince Albert Raiders, and Saturday they’re in Saskatoon against the Blades.
-Next action for Brandon AAA U18 Wheat Kings is in Kenora for a pair of games against the Thistles on Saturday and Sunday.
-The Winnipeg Jets host the Carolina Hurricanes tonight.
-The Professional Women’s Hockey League begins the regular season with two games tonight. The Toronto Sceptres are in Minnesota, and Vancouver is home to Seattle. On Saturday, the New York Sirens will visit the Ottawa Charge, and the Boston Fleet welcome the Montréal Victoire on Sunday.
-The Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials begin Saturday and run through Nov. 30 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax. There are 8 men’s and women’s teams including Kerri Einarson, Kaitlyn Lawes, Kate Cameron, Matt Dunstone, and Jordon McDonald from Manitoba. The winning teams will represent Canada at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.
