Eating Dinner Earlier In Winter May Result In Better Sleep And Gut Health:
If you haven’t slept well and your gut is a mess since the time change, there’s a tweak to make that may help. Returning to Standard Time messes with our circadian rhythm so adjusting routines is key. The body clock regulates sleep, metabolism, digestion and hormone cycles and experts say eating dinner earlier after the time change is important. Instead of snacking more like people do in winter, slide your dinner time to around five or six pm. That will give your metabolic system time to reset during sleep. Eating too close to bedtime keeps that reset and others from happening which also leads to poor sleep..
