-Brandon Wheat Kings defenceman Gio Pantelas and the rest of Team CHL will try to split the series with the United States when they play the second of their two game series tonight in Lethbridge. Pantelas and team CHL fell 4-2 yesterday in Calgary.
-The Winnipeg Jets kick-off a 5-game road trip tonight against the Washington Capitals. The Jets will try and snap a two-game losing streak.
-Montreal shutout New York 4-0 in the Professional Women’s Hockey League
-The Canadian Curling Trials continue, with undefeated Kerri Einarson and Rachel Homan both securing their spots in the playoffs starting tomorrow. The men are in a tight race for first, with Manitoba’s Matt Dunstone, Brad Gushue, and Brad Jacobs all tied for first with 4 wins.
-The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed a Super Bowl champion quarterback to a futures contract. Bryce Perkins won the NFL Championship with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. He appeared in five games with the Rams, including one start, and completed 13 of his 23 passes with one touchdown in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
