
OPERATIONS ON PRIORITY ROUTES TONIGHT
Brandon, MB – As of 11 a.m. today, the City of Brandon has received 5 cm of snowfall, triggering a snow clearing operation for priority routes.
The City’s Public Works Team is sharing their tentative schedule of the snow clearing that
will take place over the next several days:
• Street clearing begins at midnight tonight with the P1A route, followed by the
remaining priority routes.
• Multi-Use pathways clearing begins at midnight tonight.
• Sidewalk clearing begins tomorrow at 8 a.m.
• Back Lane clearing is currently underway in Route 3 in advance of tomorrow’s
collection. Route 3 includes city streets from College Avenue to Richmond Avenue
and 26th Street to 42nd Street. Other back lane routes will be reassessed tomorrow.
Priority Routes Schedule (subject to change):
• P1A: 12 a.m., Thu, Feb. 19
• 2 + 6: 12 p.m., Fri, Feb. 20
• 4 + 5: 12 p.m., Sat, Feb. 21
• 1 + 3: 12 p.m., Sun, Feb. 22

Daily updates will be provided at 2 p.m. during this snow clearing event.
Residents can track progress on snowmap.brandon.ca which will be updated tonight, prior to crews beginning snow clearing operations.
