A 27-year-old Dauphin man faces weapons and release condition-related charges after an arrest by Dauphin RCMP.
According to police, officers were patrolling Main Street South in Dauphin on March 2 at about 10:15 PM when they noticed a man who was allegedly breaching his court-ordered curfew conditions. During an arrest, officers said they found a knife in his hoodie pocket and then searched his backpack. RCMP said they found a prohibited rifle, a magazine and drug paraphernalia.
Jaydon Palamar, 27, from Dauphin has been charged with, Failure to comply with release order conditions x4, Weapons possession contrary to an order, Carrying a concealed weapon, Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and Unauthorized possession of a firearm. None of the charges against him have been proven i court.
