Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours two individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Both individuals were later released via Appearance Notice with future court dates.
Theft Under $5000 / Possession of a Weapon / Failure to Comply Probation
On March 16th at 5:34 p.m. police responded to a 911 at a business located in the 1100 block of Rosser Avenue as someone had just stolen their hand-held credit card machine valued at $800. Security footage assisted in identifying the suspect. The 27-year-old male was located and arrested by police at 9:41 p.m. in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue. He was found to have a small hatchet in his possession. He was arrested, brought to BPS detention cells, and will attend court in the morning on March 17th, 2026.
Failure to Comply Probation
On March 16th at 10:12 p.m. police, while conducting a walk through of an establishment in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue, came across a 16-year-old male who was to abide by a daily curfew of which he was breaching. The youth was arrested and held in BPS detention cells for court in the morning on March 17th, 2026.
Immediate Roadside Prohibition
On March 16th at 10:54 p.m., police received a call suspecting an impaired driver. Police located the vehicle in the 1600 block of Maple Avenue. The driver failed two Approved Screening Device (ASD) tests. As a result, the vehicle was impounded for 30 days, and the 32-year-old male driver received a 90-day license suspension.
Assault with a Weapon / Uttering Threats / Failure to Comply Probation
On March 16th at 1:59 p.m., police received a report of a 26-year-old male who had become aggressive causing a known to him 42-year-old woman to flee from him on foot. The woman ran from a nearby residence to the courthouse. The male is said to have uttered threats and threatened her with a knife. The male was also in breach of a no-contact order. He was located shortly after by police, arrested, and lodged in BPS detention cells to appear in court on the morning of March 17th, 2026.
Failure to Comply Release Order / Disobey Court Order
A 32-year-old woman attended BPS aware that she had charges pending has she had breached conditions on two separate occasions. She was charged accordingly and held in BPS detention cells to appear in court on the morning of March 17th, 2026.
