Manitoba RCMP say a 29‑year‑old Dauphin woman is facing ten charges after a man was intentionally struck multiple times by a vehicle on Main Street late Sunday night. Officers were called to the 100‑block shortly after 11 p.m., where they learned the driver—who knew the victim—hit him, struck him again as he tried to flee, then got out and assaulted him on the ground. A bystander who stepped in was also attacked before the suspect drove off.
Both victims were taken to hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries. RCMP arrested the woman a few hours later. Charges include attempted murder, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation causing bodily harm, uttering threats, failing to stop after an accident, and multiple counts of assault and failing to comply with an undertaking. She remains in custody.
