Today is the final day to register for one of Brandon’s most beloved spring traditions — the annual City‑Wide Yard Sale! This community‑wide event brings neighbours together for a weekend (or two!) of decluttering, treasure‑hunting, and exploring every corner of the city.
This year’s sale is split into two weekends. Residents west of 18th Street will host their sales on Friday, May 22 (5–8 p.m.) and Saturday, May 23 (9 a.m.–3 p.m.). The following weekend, households east of 18th Street take their turn on Friday, May 29 (5–8 p.m.) and Saturday, May 30 (9 a.m.–3 p.m.). Shoppers can look forward to dozens of unique stops, from multi‑family sales to hidden‑gem finds.
Registration is completely free, and the City handles all advertising and signage — all you need to do is set up and enjoy the day. But don’t wait: April 20 is the final deadline, and late registrations cannot be accepted.
