Legacy & Lights Benefit Dinner Sells Out, Marking Major Milestone for Keystone Centre Foundation
The Keystone Centre Foundation is celebrating a major achievement as its inaugural benefit dinner, Legacy & Lights, has officially sold out ahead of its May 14 debut. The overwhelming response reflects strong community momentum behind the newly established Foundation and its mission to support the long‑term operation, improvement, and accessibility of the Keystone Centre.
This first‑ever event will feature special guest speaker Israel Idonije, one of Brandon’s most accomplished athletes and a celebrated entrepreneur and philanthropist. After beginning his football journey at Vincent Massey High School, Idonije went on to an 11‑year NFL career, a Super Bowl appearance, and the creation of multiple successful ventures spanning youth programming, fitness, manufacturing, and hospitality. His story of leadership, innovation, and community impact sets the tone for an evening dedicated to building a stronger future for the Keystone Centre.
Adding to the night’s energy is acclaimed comedian Dave Hemstad, known for his sharp, relatable humour and performances at Just For Laughs, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and CBC’s The Debaters.
