If you’re considering a run for school trustee in this fall’s municipal and school board elections, the Manitoba School Boards Association is offering two free virtual webinars to help potential candidates understand what the role involves.
The sessions cover the structure of Manitoba’s education system, the responsibilities of a school trustee, how to run and campaign effectively, and include a live Q&A for anyone looking to learn more. The webinars run May 27 and June 1, both from 6–8 p.m., and no registration is required — participants can simply choose a date and log on.
The link to join and full details are available through the Brandon School Division’s election information page here.
These sessions are designed to support first‑time candidates and community members interested in contributing to local public education governance.
