The Manitoba Summer Fair officially opens today at the Keystone Centre grounds, launching five days of rides, food, entertainment, and family‑friendly fun as one of Western Manitoba’s longest‑running summer traditions. Running June 3–7, the fair has been a staple in Brandon for more than 140 years, drawing thousands from across the region to celebrate the start of summer.
This year’s fair features the full North American Midway Entertainment lineup, bringing high‑flying thrill rides, classic favourites, and a dedicated Kiddieland for younger visitors. Fairgoers can also explore the bustling Midway Market tradeshow, packed with local vendors, handmade goods, home décor, art, and unique finds from across Manitoba.
Families will find plenty to do beyond the midway, with the KidZone, agricultural awareness displays, horse shows, and multiple entertainment stages offering performances throughout the day. Fair food lovers can expect all the classics—mini‑donuts, corn dogs, cotton candy, and more—alongside new treats added for 2026.
The fairgrounds will be open daily with a full schedule of events, activities, and live entertainment posted online. Visitors can also access information on camping, height requirements for rides, accessibility features, and frequently asked questions.
Whether you’re coming for the rides, the food, the shopping, or the atmosphere, the Manitoba Summer Fair remains one of Brandon’s signature summer experiences—bringing together generations for a week of excitement, community, and celebration.
