Arrest Warrants
Over the past 24 hours, five individuals were arrested on outstanding Warrants for Arrest. Four were released via Appearance Notices with future court dates and one was held for court in the morning on June 19th, 2026.
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 / Breach of Court Order
On June 18th, 2026, at approximately 9:13 a.m., police conducted a person check in the Shopper’s Mall parking lot. During the stop, officers confirmed that the 28-year-old male was bound by a Court Order with conditions prohibiting attendance at the location. The male then admitted to being in possession of a stolen bicycle and told officers the location from which it had been taken the previous evening. The accused was arrested and later released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of August 20th, 2026. The bicycle was recovered and returned to its owner.
Protective Detention & Care of Intoxicated Persons Act
On June 19th at 2:00 a.m. a highly intoxicated female was located by police in the 900 block of Princess Avenue passed out along the side of the road. She was taken to Brandon Police Service (BPS) under the Protective Detention & Care of Intoxicated Persons Act (PDCIPA). The 30-year-old female will be released once sober.
