The Virden Oil Capitals are prepped for their playoff debut in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
MJHL Rookie of the Month for February Jake Dudar joined CKLQ’s Tyler Crayston for Thursday’s Oil Caps’ Report to preview their first round series with the Swan Valley Stampeders.
Virden and Swan Valley split their eight head-to-head meetings with five of those contests deciding by one goal and three of those outcomes were decided in extra time.
Game #1 of the best-of-seven is set for Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Tundra Oil and Gas Place.
