The Assiniboine Community College women’s volleyball team will have a new coach next year.
Jeff Maxwell will be taking the reigns after serving as a teacher and coach at Elton Collegiate for almost two decades.
He led the Elton Sabres girls varsity team to five provincial championships, and coached the boys’ varsity team to two provincial championships.
Maxwell was named Manitoba High School Coach of the Year in 2015 and Manitoba Volleyball Association AA Coach of the Year in 2003.
He takes over the reigns from Beth Clark who is stepping aside to continue her role as Athletics Manager for the school.
