Swan River, MB (CKLQ) – Team Ontario stole the final game to win the 2018 Canadian Mixed Curling Championships in Swan River.
The team won 7-3 over previously undefeated Quebec.
Ontario is skipped by Thornhill’s Mike Anderson,vice-skipped by Danielle Inglis, seconded by Sean Harrison, and the lead was Lauren Harrison.
They won their way to the final earlier in the day by beating New Brunswick and the extra ninth end, 7-6.
Newfoundland and Labrador beat New Brunswick in the bronze medal game 6-3, to win third place.
The Andersen team will go to the World Mixed Curling Championships next month.
