Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Brandon Legends team got off to a quick start but eventually tired legs set in and the Montreal Canadiens alumni team won 11-9 in front of almost 2,000 fans at the Keystone Centre.
The team did more than just play the Bobcats/Wheat Kings former players as they even took on the Carberry Plainesmen minor team during the second intermission.
All funds from the game will be going towards a new indoor turf for the Keystone Centre.
All this of course was played in front of course fans dressed in Bleu, rouge et blanc.
