Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – For the fourth straight year, the Brandon Bobcats volleyball and basketball teams will be going to small towns in Westman to play their intrasquad games.
Killarney, MacGregor, Neepawa and Shoal Lake will host the Bobcats teams prepare for the 2018-19 U Sports regular season.
The Bobcats’ first stop is in Shoal Lake on September 18 when the men’s volleyball team play.
The following night, the women’s basketball team plays a tune-up match at Killarney School.
Meanwhile, the men’s basketball team heads to Neepawa for a second straight season on September 26.
The BU women’s volleyball team will close out the tour on October 3 at MacGregor Collegiate Institute.
Over the past three seasons the Bobcats intrasquad game initiative has seen BU teams travel to Boissevain, Carberry, Carman, CFB Shilo, Dauphin, Deloraine, Gladstone, Glenboro, Hamiota, Melita, Souris and Virden.
