My weekend involved having to go to the city for some shopping. I had received gift cards when I got married to stores not located in Brandon. So, my girlfriends and I went to Winnipeg. We had our lists and a game plan. We planned the outlet mall, Ikea and then Costco. Outlet mall was good, waited a few minutes to get into some stores as there was a 5-10 person max per store. Ikea was a different story; the line was looped around 3 times and was not moving at all! So, we skipped Ikea and went to Costco. There was a line, but it was steady moving, and we were in and out in 40 minutes. Now that we had extra time from skipping Ikea, we decided we would go to Polo Park and see what deals they had. MY GOODNESS! The lines were crazy for certain stores. Bath and Body works had a massive line that stretched out across the top floor and as we walked by the store itself, inside there were two women just screaming at each other. We decided we did not need candles right then and there. The line for that same store in Brandon was an hour wait last week. Restaurants have had hour waits to be seated. Some places have even done reservations only. With all these changes and new protocols and safety measures put in place, what is the longest you are willing to wait in line for?
