This from Environment Canada Yesterday. How are you handling the Heat?
Hot weather associated with an upper ridge of high pressure is building eastward from Saskatchewan and will affect southern Manitoba over the next couple of days. Daytime highs today were near 32 in many areas, which will be followed by similar temperatures on Wednesday. Overnight lows will only drop into the mid to high teens.
Temperatures will moderate somewhat Thursday night or Friday but continue quite warm into the weekend.
Watch for the effects of heat illness: swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions.
Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
Outdoor workers should take regularly scheduled breaks in a cool place.
