It’s October which means spooky things are all the rage this month. One of the classic horror movie tropes has gotta be a curse of some kind. Someone unknowingly does something that results in them being cursed with some kind of a demon following them or perpetual bad luck in everything. I can’t think of many examples cause I’m not a horror movie kinda person, but you know what I mean.
A Canadian woman claims that she’s been cursed for the last 15 years, and now she’s finally ridding herself of it. Back in 2005, this woman, only identifiable as Nicole, stole artifacts from Pompeii, Italy. Something from the gift shop wouldn’t do, so naturally stealing was her best option. Seems like she got what she deserved, as she mailed the artifacts back to Pompeii, after claiming they were cursed. Nicole claims that in the last 15 years she’s had money trouble and dealt with breast cancer twice.
Obviously, the misfortunes she’s experienced could have nothing to do with her decision to steal from Pompeii 15 years ago, but she seems to think they’re connected. Do you think you’ve ever been cursed?
