Brandon’s Amanda Thornborough is once again wearing the maple leaf with Canada’s women’s rugby team.

The test matches against the Aussies and New Zealand are scheduled for June, with the World Cup beginning August 1st in France.
Thornborough joined co-hosts Tyler Crayston and Lanny Stewart on this week’s edition of 880 CKLQ’s Monday Sports Talk…

Thornborough is not foreign to the international stage.
In 2013, she helped Canada to an undefeated run at the Hong Kong sevens tournament, and played a part in our national team winning their first-ever Nations Cup title.
