The news was announced from an official statement on King’s Twitter account. He passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The statement said “With profound sadness, Ora Media accounces the death of our co-founder, host, and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning at age 87”
The statement goes on to talk about King’s 63 years in the business. Across Radio, TV and Digital Media platforms. “Larry’s many thousands of interviews, awards, and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster.”
Some of my favourite Larry King interviews was when he interviewed The Beatles in 2007
And the OJ Simpson “On The Run” special which had the phone call between OJ Simpson and the police in 1994
