Yesterday Ally put a post up on the Qcountry Facebook page celebrating the fact that Canada ranked #1 in the annual 2021 Best Countries report for the first time in the study’s six-year history. I was a bit disturbed by the overwhelming amount of negative comments that followed the post. I realize we can’t all be happy all the time but I think it’s only fair to recognize that, compared to a LOT of other spots in the world, we’ve got it pretty darn good. I know it’s been a tough year, I know we’re not perfect, but why do the negative thoughts always float to the top? Seems to me, at tough times like this, a little positivity could go an awful long way.
