Glue has caused a lot of new stories this year alone. There was the woman who used gorilla glue in place of hairspray, causing an uproar on the internet. Now, the glue has taken another victim but this time, she didn’t know she grabbed glue. A woman woke up in the middle of the night to take her contact lenses out. As she was in her half-asleep state, she reached into her purse for eye drops only to mistakenly grab a bottle of nail glue. Granted, the nail glue bottle and the eye drops bottle are very similar in shape and size so it was just an unfortunate mistake and not a conscious decision. The woman, after glueing her eye shut, is said to be ok and her vision was not altered due to the fact her contact lens took the majority of the glue. The full story can be found here.
