Yesterday while trying to repair a small wooden trellis behind a rosebush the trellis shattered and filled my hands with little splinters. I was certain I had gotten them all until I woke up this morning and one of my fingers was bright red and so swollen I couldn’t bend it. Apparently I had missed one. I’ve tried tweezers, hydrogen peroxide, digging around with a needle, and still that little sucker refuses to budge. I need a sure fire sliver retraction method before infection sets in.
