I am usually ok with bugs. I am not scared of spiders, moths, bees, wasps but the one thing that makes my skin crawl like no other, TICKS. I hate them with a passion. It is currently tick season in Westman, I have yet to get one and neither has my dog but I know it is coming. Imagine though, what kind of bad luck a person has to have to get MULTIPLE illnesses from a single tick bite?
A man in the states experienced such bad luck.
Laboratory studies revealed that the man had Lyme disease, babesiosis, and anaplasmosis.
Luckily though, the three infections were all treatable with antibiotics. After taking three different prescriptions, the man’s symptoms resolved.
