We’ve seen a couple of shortages in these times: toilet paper when the pandemic first started, and apparently there are gas shortages all across North America. What about, however, the lesser-used day to day items? Have you noticed any of them conspicuiously absent from grocery store shelves?
One that I’m really missing now, is the HUGE tins of instant hot chocolate mix. Try as I might, I cannot find them ANYWHERE in Brandon, and believe me…I’ve looked. I dont mind getting the smaller pouches, but they tend to add up fast, and I need my mocha in the morning gosh darn it!
Another weird one that I never forsaw: Playstation 4 controllers. Yeah, seriously! I’ve been to the big box stores, I’ve been to the small independants, but there doesn’t appear to be any new controllers to be had anywhere in the city. What’s up with that?!
Have YOU noticed any shortages on things you never expected to run out of stock?
