Manitoba health officials are reporting 16 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the provinces total to 1,365.
Of the new cases; one is in the Prairie Mountain Health region, one is in the Southern Health region, and 14 in Winnipeg.
Health officials say there are 404 active cases, including 212 in PMH, 137 of which are in Brandon. There are 12 COVID patients currently in the hospital, including three in intensive care, and 945 people have recovered.
Meanwhile, public health is advising of a possible exposure to COVID-19 may have occurred between September 2nd to 5th at the Tim Horton’s located at 3296 Portage Ave. in Winnipeg. Times of exposures are listed online and can be found at https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/updates/flights.html#event.
The province also notes that the Keystone Centre Testing Site in Brandon will close permanently after September 12th. Those seeking testing are advised to visit the Brandon Town Centre.
