City of Brandon crews are scheduled to fog the city for mosquitos starting at 9:00 tonight (July 7).
In a release on Brandon’s Facebook page, the city says “mosquito trap counts from this past weekend exceeded the established thresholds for proceeding with adult mosquito control.” The average number Sunday, July 3rd was 1,486 and 1,233 on Monday, July 4th.
“Crews will start fogging on the north side of Brandon and will complete fogging the entire city through the night. In the event fogging is postponed due to weather conditions, the public will be notified, and fogging activity will be re-scheduled to the next suitable evening.”
