On May 23, Brandon police received a report from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue regarding the theft of meat valued at $150 – then on May 30, police received a separate report of unauthorized transactions of an individual’s debit card at several business locations within Brandon.
They say the suspect to both incidents was identified through surveillance video, and on June 20 officers conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 100 block of 6th Street and arrested a 48- year-old female suspect.
Police say the individual has been released with conditions to appear in court on August 28, 2023.
