At 9:25am, Brandon police were called to a structure fire in the 500 block of Rosser Ave East. Five individuals were evacuated from the residence including a 2 year old who was transported and admitted to hospital. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

At 10:03am, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a detached garage in the 500 block of 23rd Street. It is believed to have occurred sometime between 11:00pm and 5:00am. Stolen were small hand tools. This incident is still under investigation.

At 3:24pm, police responded to a gas leak on Applewood Bay. A homeowner had been using an auger and accidentally ruptured the gas line. Several nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution until Hydro could shut of the gas and take over the scene.

At 3:36pm, police received a report of a B&E to the fenced compound of the business in the 1000 block of 20th Street. It is believed to have occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, May 13th. Once inside the compound the suspect(s) stole a Milwaukee impact drill with case, charger, and battery. This incident is still under investigation.

At 5:47pm, police arrested a 32 year old man in White Swan mobile home court for breaching his probation as he was at a residence he was not permitted to attend. He was later released for court on July 11, 2022.

At 7:29pm, police responded to a disturbance at a residence on 12th Street North. A 44 year old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the RCMP for failing to attend court. He was held in custody for court in the morning.

At 7:58pm, police arrested a 34 year old man in the 1900 block of McDonald Ave for Break and Enter. The man was intoxicated and had entered two homes in the area. He was scared off by a homeowner as he attempted to steal food from one of the homes. He was held in custody for court in the morning.
