Brandon police report that shortly before midnight on Thursday, a female victim reported she was stabbed outside of a downtown hotel.
The victim returned home and realized she had been stabbed twice in the abdomen. Police say she was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The investigating officer viewed surveillance video which showed the suspect stabbing the victim twice in the parking lot of the hotel.
A warrant has been issued for the female suspect.

A 28-year-old Brandon woman was arrested for assault on Thursday evening.
Police say the male victim is recovering from head injuries suffered in the attack at a hotel on Pacific Avenue.
They say surveillance video showed the suspect knocking the victim to the ground and repeatedly kicking him in the head until he was unconscious.
The accused was arrested nearby, and will appear in court July 17th.

On Thursday morning, Brandon police say a woman reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend at a residence on 11th Street North.
The victim was pushed and grabbed by the accused.
A 33-year-old man from Brandon was arrested and released for court in October.

At around 1:00 am on July 17th, Brandon police were called to Franklin Street and Louise Avenue East for reports of a man and woman seen stealing items from yards.
They say two suspects matching the description were located and arrested.
A 32-year-old Brandon man had a stolen lawn ornament and a can of bear spray in his possession. Police say he was arrested for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Theft under $5000 and Trespass by Night, and is to appear in court July 17th.
And a 42-year-old woman from Brandon was also arrested for Theft under $5000 and Trespass by Night. She was released to appear in court in October.

Brandon police are looking into a break-in at a compound and machine shop at the Wheat City Golf Course.
Police say staff discovered the lock, on the gated compound, had been cut-off on Thursday morning. A set of 40 wrenches was stolen inside the machine shop. A utility vehicle and a golf cart were damaged as well. The suspects forced open the golf cart shed and searched through several golf carts.

And a garage in the 3200 block of McDonald Avenue was entered overnight on Thursday. A Hard Rock mountain bike was stolen.
