Brandon police are investigating several shed break-ins all on Sunday. Police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential shed in the 1400 block of College Avenue Suspects forced the door overnight and stole two bicycles and a Rubbermaid Container.
On October 31, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential shed in the 400 block of 8th Street. Suspects cut the lock overnight and stole two bicycles. One bike was a CCM adult style with 28-inch wheels, and the second was a child’s CCM with 24-inch wheels – and also on October 31, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential shed in the 500 block of 23rd Street overnight. Suspects damaged the lock to gain entry, and nothing was noted stolen by the homeowner.

On October 31, 2021, Brandon police responded to a report of the theft of a truck from the 1000 block of Lorne Avenue. On-Star was able to pinpoint where the vehicle was located, which led police to locate it parked in the 1500 block of 18th Street on November 1, 2021 shortly after 1:00 am. A 25-year-old man was arrested who police say also had a knife, contrary to a release order. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply with Release Order.

On November 1, 2021, police responded to a report of a male passed out on a sidewalk in the 700 block of 10th Street. The 27-year-old male had nowhere to stay and nobody to care for him. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
