In a media release, Brandon police say at 0442 hrs on Saturday morning, officers responded to a fight in progress in the 700 block of Louise Avenue.
Before police arrived, a 9-1-1 caller reported one of the men fighting was injured and required an ambulance. Officers located a male with serious injuries at the scene, and an ambulance attended and transported the victim to Brandon Regional Health Centre where he succumbed to his injuries.
No one has been arrested at this point and the Major Crimes Section continues to investigate.
