Brandon police are investigating a break-in to a business in the 4100′ block of Richmond Avenue that resulted in a catalytic converter and a set of hand tools being stolen.
Officers say suspects entered the compound between 8:00 pm on Tuesday (May 4) and 12:00 pm on Wednesday (May 5).

And a 47-year-old man was arrested Wednesday (May 5) afternoon on several weapon charges.
Brandon police responded to reports of the man carrying a machete in the 800 block of Rosser Avenue. When he was located, officers say, they found him in possession of a large knife, bolt cutters and vice grips
He has a court date scheduled for July and faces charges of Possess Weapon and Possess Break-in Instruments.
