The third period was the cherry on top for the Brandon Wheat Kings with Nate Danielson scoring with a wrist shot from the high slot to make it 3-0. 61 seconds later the Wheat Kings would add one more after some solid forechecking from Nolan Ritchie would allow Rylen Roersma to find Mason Ward wide open top of the right circle who placed a perfect shot top corner to score his 3rd of the year and 4th goal of the game for the Wheat Kings.

Carson Bjarnason would finish the night with 19 saves earning his 2nd career shutout.
