You still have a week to help Brandon’s Pet Valu raise money and supplies for ‘Funds for Furry Friends.’
The company says every April, they hold a month-long fundraising campaign and adoption weekend to support ‘Funds for Furry Friends’, and to find forever homes for their cats and dogs.
COVID-19 put the kibosh on the April event – so it was moved to June. Rick Cross, owner of Pet Valu Keystone Village says “‘Funds for Furry Friends’ still continued to take in new cats and dogs, and now that the restrictions are easing, we are very excited to be able to do something to help them.”
He says “Thanks to the support of Pet Valu’s vendor partners, each time a customer purchases select cat and dog food, treats and flea and tick protection at Pet Valu – $1 from the purchase of each qualifying product will be donated to ‘Funds for Furry Friends’. The store is also donating food and litter and collecting donations of supplies from customers for the rescue.”
Cross hopes everyone will come out to help grow donations in the final week of the store’s “Giving Back Month.”
